Under the initiative of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation and with the financial patronage of Walton Hitech Industries Limited, the three-day (03-05, 2020) “Walton Refrigerator Inter-District Taekwondo” was held on Saturday (September 2) at the National Sports Council Gymnasium.
Mr. F.M. Iqbal-Bin Anwar Don, Executive Director and Head of the Department (Games & Sports), Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd., was the Chief Guest at the Closing and Prize Giving Ceremony today, September 5 at 11:30 AM. President of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal presided over the award distribution and closing ceremony. General Secretary of the Federation Mahmudul Islam Rana and other officials were also present on the occasion. Around 200 people from 8 clubs and 14 districts of the country including Army, Ansar, BGB participated in the competition. The competition will be held in 12 categories with 36 gold, 36 silver and 36 tier medals.

Senior Girls Division
Champion: Bangladesh Army (03 gold, 02 silver = 05 medals)
Runner-up: Bangladesh Ansar and VDP (02 gold = 02 medals)
Junior men’s and women’s joint division
Champion: Comilla District Sports Association (07 Gold, 01 Silver, 04 Taur = 11 Medals)
Runner-up: Sirajganj District Sports Association (04 gold, 02 taira = 08 medals)
