The thematic competition under the management of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation was held on 22-23 October 2020 from 02 (two) days at Mohammadpur Taekwondo Club “Mujib Borsho Federation Cup Taekwondo Competition-2020”. Mr. Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal, President of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation inaugurated the competition on 22 October 2020 (Thursday) at 11:00 AM. Mr. Mahmudul Islam Rana, General Secretary of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation and other members were also present at the inaugural function. About 160 people from 10 organizations including Bangladesh Police, Ansar, BJMC participated in the competition.
In that competition, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Taekwondo team won a total of 08 gold, 08 silver and 2 bronze medals in the men’s and women’s pomes category and became the team champions. BJMC became runners up with a total of 03 gold, 04 silver and 05 bronze medals.
Mr. Md. Nurul Hasan Faridi, Deputy Director-General, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Headquarters, was present as the Chief Guest at the Closing Ceremony on 23rd October 2020 (Friday) at 11.00 am and announced the distribution of prizes among the winners.
Md. Raihan Uddin Fakir, Assistant Director (Sports and Culture), Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Headquarters and Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal, President, Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation were present as special guests. Also present was Mr. Mahmudul Islam Rana, General Secretary of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation and other members.
